This mid-summer bloomer blooms sprays of white and is winter dormant. It spreads with rhizomes, but does not need much pruning unless you want to cut it back when it goes dormant. It makes a good cut flower, and will flop over if it is too shaded or too moist. It is not edible but attracts many pollinators including bees, wasps, flies, butterflies, moths, and beetles.
