Drought tolerant once established, this groundcover is excellent for erosion control thanks to it’s long tap root and nitrogen fixing nodes. It blooms spring to fall with a whimsical pink puff ball. Semi-evergreen; in areas where temperatures dip below 50°F (10°C), it will go dormant before reemerging in spring. Host plant for the little sulphur (Eurema lisa) butterfly.
