Stokes Aster is a heat-tolerant flower. It blooms in the summer with purple flowers, and deadheading it extends its bloom time. It’s best for low growing mass plantings, and propagates via division of the clumps. Stokes Aster attracts multiple pollinators, including butterflies, bees, and wasps. It makes a good dried or pressed flower for art.
