This semi-evergreen blooms white in the spring. It is similar to the Titi, except the leaves and flowers are smaller. It is only found in Northwest Florida. It can be grown as a small tree or a large shrub depending on how you choose to prune it. It likes to form hedges or thickets along water edges. Its showy flowers make good cut flowers and foliage. It attracts native bees and other polinators, and its fruit is eaten by birds and mammals.
