Elliot’s Aster blooms from late summer to early fall with unique purple flowers. It is great for rain gardens, but can fall over in shady areas. It colonizes aggressively by sending out suckers, so it needs to be planted somewhere where it has room to spread. It attracs butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.
