Bluecurls bloom in the late summer to the early fall and have many short-lived blue flowers. It is an annual but readily self-seeds each year and is a fragrant addition to wildflower gardens. It attracts various pollinators, and especially bees. Documented bee species include Caupolicana electa and  Dialictus placidensis.
