This saline loving solidago blooms from late summer to fall with yellow flowers. If you want a bushier plant, you can prune it early in the season. It is a prolific self-seeder and attracts many pollinators. It is a nectar plant for monarchs and other butterflies as well as attracting the goldenrod soldier beetle (Chauliognathus pensylvanicus). Solidagos make good cut flowers.
Might be a natural alternative to rubber, it produces caoutchouc.
