AKA: American Snowdrop Tree, Twowing Silverbell

This showy deciduous tree blooms in early spring before its leaves emerge. In the fall, its leaves turn yellow. It has light green fruits that ripen in the fall, that are edible when green. It is a good under-story tree in moist to dry sites, slopes, and hammocks. It attracts hummingbirds and cardinals, and is the larval host for a variety of moth species.
