AKA: Beach Rosemary

An endangered, evergreen shrub that prefers well-drained sandy conditions. Wild rosemary is edible; some find the taste lightly soapy while others note it’s simply less sweet than culinary rosemary. Most people find it to be reminiscent of the taste of rosemary, mixed with lavender, mixed with citrus. It attracts many pollinators during its long bloom season that starts in spring and puts off lavender-colored flowers. If you want to prune it to a desired shape, you should do so in late spring or summer.
