A short lived perennial, this plant will readily self seed in the garden. Blooming during the first year it is planted, it has a long bloom time from early summer to fall. Tolerant of drought and heat, this plant perfers well draining soils. Attracts a plethora of pollinators including long and short tongued bees, predatory wasps, butterflies, moths, and some beetles and flies.
