Wavy Leaf Aster blooms in late summer into fall with light purple flowers. It can sometimes get lanky, so it’s recommended to cut it back to half its size part of the way through summer. It attracts many pollinators and is the larval host for the Pearl Crescent (Phycoides tharos).
