With a passion for the outdoors and a love for plants, Sam and her husband decided to open Sandhills Native Nursery in spring of 2021. Located in the sandhills of Fountain, Florida, their nursery is nestled in among the native plants and wildlife that were there before them. Their hope is to make Florida’s vast array of native plant species accessible and educate on the importance of choosing these for our gardens. 

We are located on a dirt road about 10 minutes off of highway 231.

Recommended Driving Directions: 

From Highway 20: Take HWY 20 all the way until you reach HWY 231. Follow the below directions from there.

From Highway 231: Travel past HWY 20, turn left onto Silverlake Rd. Take a right onto Deep springs, followed by a left onto Western Rd. and a right onto Merritt Rd.

You will see a parking lot on the right side.
